the 2nd wk of Jan, hubby had his car serviced. we sent his car to de garage early in de morn, den explored with using public transport! hee. we took bus 15 to Parkway :) waited so long for de bus, hence de pics, hehe :p its been soOOooo long hubby took public transport tat he claim he couldnt stand properly on de bus! he stepped on ppl's toe for like 3 times?

3rd wk of Jan.. celebrated daddy's birthday @ Station Kitchen :) its located @ St James Power Station :) nice Jap food, nice concept! expensive too! lol~

last wkend of Jan.. celebrated hubby's birthday :) we had high tea @ Meritus Mandarin on Sat :) good ambience! excellent view! :) it is known for their panoramic view, similar to Equinox @ Swissotel.

we were welcomed with this complimentary chocolate fondue! *sinful*

it is revolving.. finally managed to capture the hotel name! hee.

we did a bit of shopping after tat den headed home for dinner with his mum :) lovely! we caught the Singapore VS Malaysia soccer match on Chn 5 too.. tho hubby was mostly spending time wif his game! haha~ YAY Singapore won! :):)

this msg came a tad too early.. it was on 21st Jan New Paper.. when i actually requested for it to be published on 28th Jan instead. boohoo~ so on 21st.. hubby's fren called him "eh is tat u on papers?". and yah.. it did not became a surprise in the end.. SIANZ. before hubby cld see it by himself, he was already being informed! zzZzzz... sian diao! anyway.. its de tout tat counts la hor?

On a funnier note.. he told me his men now calls him "SIR Latte".. it made me luff on a Monday - cured my Monday blues! wahahah~ how this Mocha Latte nickname came about.. shall remain sth special just between the 2 of us, hehe *grin*

gonna be a short wk for me ahead.. took leave on thurs & fri to send hubby off :) tho its de 3rd time he's goin overseas.. but.. i still feel sore! hate de feelin of saying "goodbye".

how was everyone's countdown? hee :p the end of 2006, the beginning of 2007 :)

one of my fren is gettin married in 2007! so happy for her :) so excited for her too! *grin*

instead of squeezing with the crowd @ Esplanade (which we did last yr, lol), we gathered 4 cars to makan @ Bedok 85, then to ECP's Beach Cabana to chill. there was a tad much time, so we decided to find a place to sit and tok cok. =p as 2007 arrived, we each light up de sparkle and threw it far far away to throw away our worries! hehe... :) may 2007 be the year filled with more happiness and less sadness! =) supper at KAP Mac after tat den home sweet home. *tired*

hubby's cousin is workin part-time at Cathay's Ben & Jerry, so we popped her a visit, heh. she was pretty busy, so pretty hard to capture a shot with her! hehe..

during tat long wkend, togeda with the poly peeps, we headed to Jurong for.. zhi bao ji (paper chicken)! *yummy* we waited for an hr, but it was worth the wait! hehe.. ended up @ Chevrons bowling after tat. *smiles*

2nd Jan was also a public holiday, so shiokk hur hur! hubby had lunchie with his army gang, and so i was deciding between goin home or goin out =p end up.. i wen to colour my hair! *oops* spend money again! hehe. wanted to do it nearer to CNY, but .. but.. i still did it tat day! hehe. afterwhich had coffee with the rest :) fun!

oh yeah, we also watched 2 movies tat day - Death Note 2 and Night at the Museum! NICE! =p

last Fri, i wen for my follow-up check. but.. the doctor was not ard tat day! (it was a diff doc). grr~ so i wen on Saturday morning :/ wen for a 2nd X-Ray, sian! :( now gotta wait for another 3 more days. boo.

hubby picked me up thereafter.. but we ended up goin bk to my place to ZzzZZz! *snores* left home in the evening to have dinner with hubby's relatives. it was his grandma's birthday! :) food was nice, but service a bit de.. not-very-good leh.

met our poly frens again for another round of bowling @ Marina Sq, heh. so funny seeing them play lor! very kan chiong for them, cos the loser had to treat supper :p supper was at ECP Mac (again)! omg, now you see the reason why im growing side ways? hehe..

so nice to reminisce the past memories of schoool days :) it was a nice hangout with them tho i was pretty tired :( it was about 3am by the time hubby and i wen off to dreamland -.-

lucky hubby managed to wake up for his soccer match on Sunday! otherwise sure kena suaned by them liao! muahahah~ i continued to sleep.. hehe, until it was lunch time =p lunch was @ West Coast Seafood Restaurant togeda wif hubby's parents :) been awhile since we makan togeda :) *smiles* we received ang pao from his parents! his mum say this is to wish us good luck for the new year ahead! *thank you aunty*

it was kinda funny reading wad hubby's mum wrote: "jac baobei, a great year ahead! love, mum & dad". the very first time hubby's parents gave me my b/day present, she wrote "love, from M & D", then she stood there cheekily waiting for me to guess what does "M & D" stands for. hubby was lookin at me, all eyes were on me, so paiseh! he kep emphasizing "Mum and Dad leh!"*blush*
